Abstract
Infection with fluoroquinolone-resistant strains of salmonella is rare, as is nosocomial salmonella infection. We describe the first recognized outbreak of fluoroquinolone-resistant salmonella infection in the United States, which occurred in two nursing homes and one hospital in Oregon.Keywords
