Abstract
Nuclear properties, such as ground-state energies, rms charge radii, and intrinsic quadrupole moments are calculated, using the Hartree-Fock method, for self-conjugate even-even -shell nuclei. The internucleon interaction is a spin-independent -state version of the Skyrme interaction. The density dependence of the matrix is simulated by a three-body repulsive interaction. The connection between the latter and a density-dependent two-body interaction is discussed in the Appendix.
