Abstract
The process of implementing the 'Care Programme Approach' (CPA) in a community-based rehabilitation team is described. Details of the operational policy and procedures are given, together with data describing the client group and examining the match between levels of disability and levels of services received. A relationship was found between levels of disability, type of living situation, frequency of contact with 'care coordinator' and frequency of contact with main carer. No relationship was found with frequency of attendance for day care or contact with closest relative. The implications of these findings are discussed. Keywords
