Syndrome delineation 2. Inborn errors of metabolism, deformities, and variant familial developmental patterns

Abstract
Part 1 of this two-part article discussed malformations and dysplasias and was published last month. Inborn errors of metabolism are generally well recognized, and deformities and malformations usually are clearly distinguishable. Variant familial developmental patterns are consequences of normal phenotypic variation.
