Abstract
Granulosa and thecal cells were separated from the estrous follicle of an equine ovary. The individual cell types were determined to be essentially homogeneous by microscopic examination, although the thecal layer contained both theca interna and externa cells. The 2 classes of cells were incubated with acetate-1-C14 in vitro and labeled cholesterol was isolated and crystallized to constant specific activity. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
