Abstract
110 Gbit/s optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission is demonstrated over 80 km ITU-T G.652 singlemode fibre (SMF) without dispersion compensation. The optical OFDM signal is generated by a novel electro-optic subcarrier multiplexing technique that combines a two-carrier modulation scheme with an optical multi-carrier light source. Keywords
