Abstract
The question of possible effects of television upon children has recently occupied the attentions of Congressional committees, Federal departments, and Presidential commissions. Yet, very little objective research has been done. The following bibliographic items were selected from those assembled for Mr. Abel's M.A. thesis with an eye to lightening the load of the many students, researchers, and speech makers who will be turning their attention to this topic in the future. Mr. Abel, now working on doctoral studies at Indiana University, is on leave from his position in the communications department at North Dakota State University. Keywords
