Abstract
The extravascular distribution of thermal indicator in the pulmonary vascular bed has been demonstrated. For the determination of cardiac output by thermal dilution, right atrial injection and pulmonary arterial detection should be preferred. An injection-thermistorcatheter for use in this method has been constructed. Keywords
