Abstract
An infinite set of exact solutions of the sextic double-well potential is derived. These solutions that are obtained for special configurations of the well are shown to provide an excellent description of the entire negative energy spectrum for arbitrary geometry of the well. A universal feature of this class of deep double-well potentials is deduced. Keywords
