Abstract
The namesCitrobacter koseri,Levinea malonaticaandCitrobacter diversusare synonymous. As a result of the study of representative strains of these organisms an antigenic scheme comprising seven O antigens has been proposed. The examination of a further 165 strains from clinical sources suggests that an additional seven antigens should be included in the scheme. The serological and biochemical reactions of the test strains for all 14 O antigens are described.
