Abstract
This case study details a successfully used technique, But aside from the success of this technique, we were most impressed with the obviously warm feelings expressed toward the child by those involved with her case. This girl did not present a learning disorder. However, oftentimes even though it is possible to remediate a learning problem satisfactorily, the child's emotional stability and school interest can be destroyed in the process. The use of sodium pentothal must, of course, be under M.D. control, and we would assume that the technique would only be recommended in extreme cases and only after other forms of therapy have failed.—C.
