Abstract
Some ω-fluoroalkynes have been prepared and shown to be valuable intermediates in the synthesis of rare long-chain ω-fluoro compounds; successful representative reactions, in all of which the C—F bond remained intact, included Grignard reactions, partial and total catalytic hydrogenation, halogenation, and miscellaneous coupling reactions. Keywords
