Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to provide rehabilitation professionals with a general overview of Independent Living Centers (ILCs) and a specific focus on how centers work with clients who have a secondary disability of substance abuse. There is a critical gap in ILCs services to clients who have alcohol or drug problems. Keywords
