Self-energy of polygonal dislocation loops

Abstract
Formulae for the energy of planar polygonal dislocation loops in elastically anisotropic media are derived. The main contribution can be represented by a line integral taken around the loop perimeter, but a minor contribution remains as a convergent double line integral around the perimeter.Keywords
