It was discussed by the panel† on this subject at the Deborah International Symposium on Tuberculosis on November 20, 1958, in Philadelphia.65 There, it was made clear that chemoprophylaxis should properly be considered in two ways: Primary prophylaxis, or drug therapy with isoniazid before tuberculous infection has occurred.
