Note on Tests of Significance in Programs for Factor Analysis

Abstract
It was noted that some commonly used factor analysis programs do not incorporate and stress the use of tests of the various matrices used in such analyses. Such tests should be performed; they would aid in reducing the frequency of inadequate factor-analytic studies in the literature.Keywords
