Abstract
The alfalfa caterpillar, Colias philodice eurytheme, is subject to a polyhedrosis (polyhedral virus disease) of which this paper treats in a general manner. The demonstration of the virus by means of the electron micro-scope is recorded. The symptoms, post-mortem changes, histopathology, pathogenesis, the causative virus, epizootiology, and economic importance of the disease are discussed, and the results of investigational work on these subjects are summarized. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
