Abstract
Laboratory work demonstrated that humidities of less than 70% did not permit survival. Measurement of the humidity-as it occurred in the field showed that under drought conditions the humidity was not high enough to permit survival even under ground cover most suitable to the tick. The data, although preliminary, clearly shows that the absence of ticks in open pastures is caused by lack of moisture. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
