Abstract
The magnetic properties of submicron circular epitaxial Co dot arrays fabricated by electron beam lithography have been studied as a function of thickness using high resolution magnetic force microscopy. As a function of thickness, in-plane single domain, vortex, or perpendicular multidomain phases have been identified. The evolution of the domain structures with dot thickness agrees well with theory. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
