Abstract
A typical dermatitis occurring in chicks fed purified rations adequate in pantothenic acid has been described. The properties of the protective factor agree with those reported for vitamin H and biotin and potent preparations of vitamin H have produced cures in 3 weeks when injected at a level of 35 μg. per day, the lowest level used. Keywords
