Abstract
Data on elastic nuclear scattering of mesons in emulsion have been obtained. The differential cross section has been calculated by the WKB approximation in the method of partial waves. It is concluded that the real and imaginary potentials necessary to give the correct -nucleon cross section also give a good fit to the elastic nuclear scattering data.
