Abstract
A model for the itinerant antiferromagnetism of the alloys is presented. The vertex-function method pointed out the possibility of a Kohn instability which gives rise to the electron-hole pairs. The magnetic susceptibility as a function of temperature has been calculated and the results seem to be in good agreement with the experimental measurements for the Fe-Mn alloys. Keywords
