Abstract
It is increasingly acknowledged that corporate success is dependent as much upon the maximization of people's potential as it is on the effective utilization of natural resources and tools. An important component of this schema was recognized by the management of a large Australian Manufacturing Company, who realized that to achieve optimum efficiency of operations, they had to practically demonstrate a greater interest in the welfare of their employees. This article describes an innovative social work programme provided by this Company at one of its Victorian Operations. Keywords
