Abstract
In situ hybridization and immunocytochemistry were combined to detect RNA and proteins in the same cell. A wide range of applications are envisioned for this method, and, as one example, viral genomes and capsid antigens were shown to be detected simultaneously in paraffin sections of the CNS of mice infected with Theiler''s virus, the causative agent of a slow demyelinating disease. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
