Abstract
The electron temperature of a z-pinch discharge was determined using the familiar foil absorber method. Details of the x-ray detector used are described and the results obtained are presented. The measured electron temperature agrees well with the previously determined value of 40 eV obtained by ruby laser Thomson scattering. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
