Abstract
Imipramine (30 mg/kg i.p.), a tricyclic antidepressant, did not antagonize the inhibition of type A or type B MAO [monoamine oxidase] by pargyline in brain, heart or liver of rats. Occupancy of active sites on mitochondrial MAO by imipramine probably does not occur at doses of imipramine adequate to inhibit monoamine uptake. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
