Abstract
Since the mid-1960's intensive research has been directed toward the prediction of liquefaction of soils during earthquakes. Cyclic triaxial tests (22), cyclic simple shear tests (16), and large-scale shaking-table tests have elucidated many features of the phenomenon.Keywords
