Abstract
One reconstruction method in emission tomography is the approximate inversion of the attenuated Radon transform Rmu . After examining the relevant numerical properties of Rmu , the author proposes a reconstruction algorithm and shows its quasi-optimality and robustness. The performance of the algorithm is then tested numerically. Keywords
