Abstract
Leafhoppers associated with the production of alfalfa, red clover and legume-grass associations were investigated 1948-56, exclusive of 1950. 14 spp. were collected, the most abundant being Macrosteles fascifrons, Graminella nigrifrons, Agallia constricta, Empoasca fabae, Aceratagallia sanguinolenta, and Draeculacephala antica. Data are given on relative abundance, broods or peaks of population, seasonal distribution and preferred host plants of the most abundant species.
