Abstract
Dipropynyl- and bis-(3,3-dimethylbut-1-ynyl)-beryllium are insoluble and probably polymeric. Several complexes (RC⋮C)2Be,L2 are described (R = Me, But; L = NMe3, pyridine, or tetrahydrofuran; L2= 2,2′-bipyridyl, tetramethylethylenediamine). The triethylamine complex, (MeC⋮C)2Be,NEt3, is monomeric. Complexes of the type (RC⋮C)2Be,L (R = Me, But; L = NMe3 or tetrahydrofuran) are dimeric, and are formulated with electron-dificient acetylenic bridges. Two bridged mixed complexes (RC⋮CBeMe,NMe3)2(R = Me, But) are described. Keywords
