Abstract
Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease of unknown cause that may involve almost any organ of the body. The skin is involved in approximately 25% of patients with the disease. Characteristically, the skin lesions do not ulcerate, do not become necrotic, and do not form sinuses. This report describes a patient with extensive multisystem sarcoidosis who had numerous ulcerated cutaneous plaques and nodules.
