Abstract
Spontaneous, nitrosoguanidine-[NG]- and JCR-191-induced variability of B. subtilis A-50 with respect to the production of alkaline protease (subtilisin) is studied. JCR-191 [not explained] induces greater variability as compared with NG under conditions of a low survival. Six mutants showing a changed ability to form proteases were obtained under the action of the same mutagens. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
