Abstract
The general solution to the problem of computing the electric field associated with any charge distribution on the surface of a photoconductor has been solved. The model includes the case where an interposition film is present. Use of the concept of the point spread function and the transfer function in the modeling of this step of the xerographic process is discussed with reference to particular examples. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
