Abstract
The mitogenic response of peripheral blood lymphocytes in whole blood culture was examined in the Muscovy duckling. The optimal stimulation dose was found to be between 3.75 and 7.5 μg/ml of Concanavalin A. Some evidence is presented for the ontogeny of the cellular immune response commencing at 3 weeks of age. Keywords
