Abstract
A treadmill for exercising small laboratory animals is described. Belt speed can be varied in steps from 13 to 70 ft/min; inclination can be varied from 0 to 160. The apparatus can be locally constructed of surplus laboratory materials and scrap for an estimated cost of $300. It is being satisfactorily used by the Physiology Division of the Naval Medical Field Research Laboratory, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for biochemical studies utilizing white rats. small animal exerciser; biochemical studies; metabolism studies Submitted on August 24, 1964This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
