Abstract
The preliminary adm. of [alpha]-estradiol, diethyl stilbestrol and testosterone propionate to dogs caused an increased rate of diffusion of chloride into 5.5% dextrose soln. which had been introduced intra-peritoneally. The response was similar to that previously demonstrated with desoxycorticosterone acetate and proges terone. This response could not be obtained in rabbits similarly treated or in rabbits tested during pregnancy. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
