Abstract
A computer program has been developed for the calculation of the distribution of the magnetization in Bloch and Néel walls. The result of computations for a Néel wall in a 1000 Å Permalloy film is shown. If x is the coordinate normal to the wall and parallel to the film, the component Ix of the magnetization in a large part of the tails of the Néel wall is a linear function of ln x. The distribution Ix = const/x2, which results at large x for a dipole line in the middle of the wall, is valid only for very large x, where Ix is neglegibly small. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
