Testosterone Production in Chromatin-Positive Klinefelter's Syndrome

Abstract
Testosterone production rate calculated from the specific activity of urinary testosterone glucuronoside was measured in 5 men with Klinefelter''s syndrome and the plasma testosterone level in 3. The production rates and plasma levels were either below or just at the lower level of the normal range. In only 1 of 4 subjects did the administration of 5000 IU of HCG for 5 days increase the production rate.
