Abstract
Insect growth regulator treatment of larvae of Heliothis Virescens (F.) serving as a host for either Cardiochiles nigriceps Viereck (Hymenoptera: braconidae) or Campoletis Sonorensis (Cameron) (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) resulted in a delay in the endoparasitoids emergence from the host. In addition, a decrease in the number of emerging adult C. nigriceps and a change in sex ratio was observed after treatment of the tobacco budworm serving as a host.
