Abstract
Presents a family of deterministic fractals which generalise the d-dimensional Sierpinski gaskets and establishes their order of ramification and their fractal and spectral dimensions. Random walks on these fractals are renormalisable and lead to rational, not necessarily polynomial, mapping. Keywords
