Abstract
IgG antibodies to Pityrosporum orbiculare were detected by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in sera from 10 healthy adults and five healthy 6-month-old children. The ELISA showed 17-80 times higher antibody levels in adults than were found by an indirect immunofluorescence technique (IIF) used in earlier studies. Low titres of antibody were detected in the children. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
