Abstract
Three patients had posttraumatic cerebrospinal fluid leakage and each developed an intracranial hematoma. All were operated on after three to ten days of neurologic stability. Two were found to have extradural hematomas and one had a subdural hematoma. Our experience emphasizes the need for care in observing the patient with a head injury and a leakage of spinal fluid. Neurologic deterioration may occur even after a period of days. Keywords
