Abstract
Clinical diagnosis of mismatch repair defects has recently been complicated by the discovery of multiple gene alterations that lead to an expanded tumor spectrum. Studies of mismatch repair protein function will improve our understanding of this process and result in better prognostic indicators of mismatch repair-associated tumor development. Keywords
