Abstract
Prevalence of rubella immunity was assayed by hemagglutination inhibition. Overall immunity, 25.5%, and immunity of females of child bearing age, 40.8%, were significantly lower than in continental areas. Urban immunity was significantly higher than rural but no significant sex or ethnic differences were noted. Geometric mean hemagglutination inhibition titen among the immune dio not significantly change with age.Keywords
