Abstract
Decontamination of nebulization equipment represents an important phase in the control of hospital-acquired infections. A monitoring program is important in the achievement of effective hospital-wide decontamination. Simple means for the sampling of nebulization equipment are described and compared with an accepted standard sampling device. Thus, surveillance methods are available to any institution with bacteriologic facilities. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
