Abstract
9,10-Bis(2,5-dihydroxy-1-phenyl)anthracene, an H-shaped tetraphenol, forms a doubly hydrogen-bonded ladder-like polymeric chain in the crystal. The small in-ladder cavities incorporate tiny guests such as acetone selectively. Keywords
