Abstract
In 34 expts. on 24 dogs the removal of protein from the diet caused, relatively early, an increase in the serum phosphatase and a decrease in the hepatic clearance of Rose Bengal. The addition of protein in the form of either casein or cooked egg white reversed these findings. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
