Abstract
Sections from 124 formalin-fixed, formic acid-decalcified, paraffin-embedded posterior maxillary processes containing molar and or bicuspid teeth from individuals aged 5-79 yrs. taken at autopsy were stained with azure A (pH 3.3). A progressive decrease of basic dye uptake of dentin in sections of human teeth was correlated with increasing age especially marked in specimens from the 3rd decade. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
