Abstract
The human prostatic territory encompasses neoplasms whose origins are intraprostatic, paraprostatic or extraprostatic. The objectives in this review are to present a classification of the spectrum of malignant epithelial growths encountered in the prostatic territory; to show examples of these neoplasms and remark on their histogenesis, enzyme production and endocrine sensitivity; and to suggest reevaluation of some current routine therapeutic procedures. This publication has 23 references indexed in Scilit:
