Abstract
Paper chromatographic analyses indicate that cercarial extracts of Schistosoma mansoni split dipeptides and tripeptides of glycine, leucine and proline into their constituent amino acids. Extracts of filariform larvae of Nippostrongylus muris and Strongyloides ratti, and cercariae of Schistosoma mansoni could be seen, upon microscopic examination, to cause the formation of palmitic acid spicules from granules of glycerol tripalmitate embedded in nitrocelloluse films. Keywords
